Community Prevention Outreach
Grassroots education campaigns across the Coachella Valley, Park City, Durango, and Washington, D.C.
Bringing prevention education directly to communities.
MAPDA works with community organizations, local partners, and prevention advocates to expand access to drug awareness and educational resources.
Through community events, educational initiatives, and collaborative outreach, we help individuals and families better understand substance-related risks, recognize emerging threats, and access information that supports informed decisions.
Our outreach efforts emphasize the importance of early awareness, open communication, and community involvement in preventing substance misuse and overdose.
As MAPDA expands its educational programming, this initiative can also support parent and caregiver webinars on how to talk with loved ones about substance use, expert-led prevention discussions, and community naloxone education and overdose response training in partnership with qualified professionals.
These additional offerings would provide practical tools and information to help individuals recognize risks, respond to emergencies, and take an active role in prevention.
